On September 3, Garrick Ohlsson will return to the Ravinia Festival for a thrilling concert featuring the Music of the Baroque ensemble under the baton of their music director, Dame Jane Glover. Mr. Ohlsson has been seen at the festival numerous times in the past, with his appearance last year marking the 40th anniversary of his Ravinia debut. 

Mr. Ohlsson will be featured in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9 in E♭ major, K. 271, also known as the Jeunehomme concerto, which has been described as “perhaps the first unequivocal masterpiece [of the] classical style.”  Also included on the program is Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Haydn’s Fire Symphony.
