Upcoming European tour

At the end of the month, Garrick Ohlsson heads to Europe for a tour of performances that will take him to the United Kingdom, Poland and Germany.

On February 27, he appears at London’s Wigmore Hall, with a Brahms program ranging from the 1854 Ballades through to the 1878 Klavierstücke, with three sets of variations written in between.

He then travels to Szczecin, Poland, where he plays Beethoven’s Piano concerto No. 4 on March 1, moving on to Katowice to perform Barber’s Piano Concerto with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra on March 7.

For his last performance of the tour, in Frankfurt on March 8, he plays a program of Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms.
