Rachmaninoff at Ravinia

Mr. Ohlsson performs as part of the “All-Russian Evening” at the Ravinia Festival on August 10. The program to be presented is Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10. Mr. Ohlsson joins the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Krzysztof Urbański, for the first part of the program. This concert will be held in the Pavillion which includes ample outdoor seating, making it the perfect occasion for a family outing.

Mr. Ohlsson performed a Russian program last year at the Festival, also with the CSO, to rave reviews.
