Romantic composers for spring

This spring, Garrick Ohlsson performs Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Brahms, starting on April 18 and 19, in Troy, NY, where he joins the Albany Symphony conducted by David Alan Miller to perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, in a program that also features Joel Thompson’s To See the Sky and Elgar’s Enigma Variations.

On April 21, he plays an all-Chopin recital at the Kimmel Center, followed by a concert with the Waterbury Symphony in Connecticut on April 26, where he plays Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1, paired with Schumann’s Symphony No. 2
